We've just released Ardour 9.0 with pianoroll windows, cue recording and editing, region effects, a realtime perceptual analyzer, mixer strips importing and exporting, various quality-of-life improvements, and many more changes

We've just tagged the second release candidate of Ardour 9.0 and announced strings freeze, so that translators can start their work safely.

Please use https://nightly.ardour.org/ to download and test. Since Ardour 9.0 is not yet ready for production use, please do not package it for Linux distributions.

We expect to tag at least one more release candidate.
